Durante l’estate sono andato in Canada a Windsor dai miei zii. Siamo andati alla riserva di animali, dove ho visto un caribù ramificato, un orso nero, un procione e altri animali. Poi siamo andati dai miei cugini e mi hanno regalato tutti i Lego che avevano.

UN’OMBRA ALLA FINESTRA

Era venerdì sera verso le 16:30 e mi ero scordato qualche quaderno in aula. Corsi di sopra, gli presi e scesi giù per le scale.

Provai ad aprire la porta ma era chiusa a chiave. Improvvisamente si spensero tutte le luci del corridoio. Pensai con allarme: “E’ venerdì e la scuola apre solo il lunedì!” Allora mi misi affacciato alla finestra, guardando il cortile desolato, sperando che qualcuno passasse.

All’improvviso scorsi un’ombra alla finestra balzai all’indietro e cominciai ad urlare: “Aiuto!”. Tremando provai a chiudermi in un’aula ma la porta era chiusa. Col cuore in gola provai quella accanto, ma anche quella era chiusa a chiave. Disperato mi chiusi nell’armadio della classe più vicina e aspettai senza respirare. Sentivo il battito del mio cuore sfrenato e non riuscivo a tranquillizzarmi.

Chiuso al buio nell’ armadio sentii un cigolo e un clang, clang, clang. Poi un suono metallico, come se qualcuno stesse trascinando una catena lungo il corridoio. La porta dell’aula, in cui ero nascosto dentro, si aprì con uno schianto terrificante. Allo stesso momento si sentì il campanello di scuola che trillava fortissimo, dandomi la pelle d’oca. La maniglia dell’armadio cominciò a girare a destra e a sinistra. Senza respirare, chiusi gli occhi e mi preparai a scappare…

Sbattendo la porta, corri vicino all’ombra e vidi che non era un fantasma … era il bidello! Scopri che i cigoli era il suono del suo carrello e il clang erano le sue chiavi che sbattevano su se stesse. Il bidello, un po’ spaventato, mi riconobbe e chiamò mia mamma che mi portò a casa.

IL MIO POSTO PREFERITO

6983 RUE BEAULIEU

La casa dei miei nonni si trova in numero 6983 via Beaulieu a Montreal. “Beaulieu” in francese significa “bel posto” e, infatti, per me è il posto più bello del mondo.

E’ una casa indipendente a tre piani con la facciata gialla, il tetto piatto, con molte finestre. Quando salgo le scale di marmo, ho un sentimento bello, che mi fa ricordare un posto meraviglioso, commuovente, pieno di gioia e straordinario. Ma c’è un sentimento più bello di tutti: è di rivedere la mia famiglia.

Quando sono all’ultimo gradino di pietra, vedo la piccola testa ai capelli argentati della mia nonna affacciata alla finestra. Ha una sedia davanti alla finestra e si siede lì lavorando ai ferri.

Quando entro in casa corro in cucina per sentire il profumo più bello del mondo: i taralli appena sfornati! Dopo, entro in salotto per salutare il nonno che spesso guarda una partita di calcio alla TV e mi aspetta per giocare a carte. D’estate lo aiuto a coltivare l’orto che continua ancora anche se ha 93 anni.

La casa dei miei nonni è bellissima anche perché è un punto di incontro di tutta la mia famiglia, anche per i miei due cugini grandi che di solito mi insegnano tante mosse di hockey. Mia zia invece mi abbraccia e mi dice sempre la stessa cosa: “Quanto grande sei diventato!”

Florian è un bambino di 9 anni, e vive a Cognola.

E’ un bambino di corporatura alta, i capelli castano scuro, il viso ovale, gli occhi marroni, il naso grande e la bocca piccola.

Ha le scarpe grigie con i lacci azzurri e un paio di jeans.

LA LEGGENDA DEL VULCANO

All’inizio del mondo vivevano due fratelli, il ghiaccio e il fuoco, che non andavano d’accordo: il primo era calmo mentre il secondo era rabbioso.

Un giorno, il ghiaccio voleva che nevicasse in Africa ma il fuoco li disse: “Ma tu sei stupido, ma proprio stupido, non può nevicare in Africa!”

– “Perché no?”

– “Perché io voglio che stia caldo”.

Allora andarono a chiedere a Madre Terra che gli disse di fare un duello per decidere come risolvere.

Un bel giorno il duello iniziò: il ghiaccio lanciò un ghiacciaio in testa al fuoco ma poi gli rispose lanciandoli un pugno di fuoco però la schivò e lo colpi in testa, il suo punto debole, con una freccia di ghiaccio.

Da allora in poi, il fuoco fu bandito in una montagna un po’ distanziata dal palazzo di suo fratello.

Ogni volta che il fuoco si arrabbia per la sconfitta e il fatto di essere rinchiuso, il vulcano esplode. Ecco perché i vulcani sputano ceneri ardenti, gas e rocce fuse chiamate lava.

IL CORTILE

Tre, due, uno, “DRING!” Sono le dodici e i bambini felici si mettono in fila per scendere in cortile.

Il cortile è deserto perché siamo i primi. Allora ci spargiamo di qua quelli che giocano a guardia e ladri, e di là quelli che giocano a calcio. L’asfalto grigio e ruvido buca i pantaloni di quelli che scivolano per terra mentre giocano a calcio. Le ragazze sedute chiacchierano sotto gli alberi alti e fioriti e parlano di cose che i maschi non capiscono.

Guardando in su, si vede svolazzare il tricolore sul Castello di Buonconsiglio. I calciatori, guardando la bandiera, sognano le nazionali e i trofei d’oro. Durante la ricreazione il cortile è pieno di vita con urli, strepiti, voci vivaci e canti trionfali dei vincitori della partita. Poi è ora di tornare in classe e il cortile, desolato e triste, ci aspetta domani.

Sto per lasciare la scuola primaria. Pensieri, sentimenti, emozioni…

Sono molto triste, avendo passato cinque anni con i miei compagni e poi doverli salutare sapendo che alcuni andranno in altre scuole è molto triste. E poi i maestri, dolci, spiritosi, buoni…! Le elementari sono meravigliose! Perché bisogna lasciarle? Ci sono i corridori colorati, il ronzio dei bambini che chiacchierano, le voci dei maestri che fanno lezione… Mi sento come un uccello senza ali, come un pesce fuor d’acqua… persa!!! Inoltre i professori delle medie fanno paura: il professor Paolizzi, la professoressa Zamboni… Mi viene la pelle d’oca solo pensarci…! E se non andassi bene in qualche materia? E se un insegnante non mi prendesse di mira? E se facesse fatica a concentrarmi? Aiuto! Una compagna che mi dispiacerà tantissimo lasciare sarà Alma. È un’amica quasi perfetta: sa ascoltare, sa dare consigli, sa risolvere problemi, è intelligente, è educata, è quasi perfetta! Solo che è troppo curiosa, troppo impicciona e un po’ guastafeste! Un’insegnante che mi dispiacerà tantissimo lasciare è la maestra Marina, ha un ottimo metodo di insegnamento, è buffa, è bella…

Insomma, un insegnante perfetta!

Immagino che andare elementi comporterà però anche dei vantaggi: in mensa potrei prenderti solo i cibi che ti piacciono, si incontreranno persone nuove. Però siccome fortunatamente resteranno anche persone della mia classe, almeno potrò ancora stare con loro!!
