Our school 

Our school is in Norwich and is called Catton Grove Primary School. There are so many pupils, over 700! We have loads of visitors who come in and help us like authors and dancers. This summer we had an amazing school fete where we had lots of stalls and music. I am in Year 5 and our teachers are Miss Barnes, Mr Buxton and Mr Moore.

How to make a smoothie 

First of all you need to buy lots of fruits (bananas, apples, grapes or anything you like). After chopping the fruit into small pieces, put them all in a blender. You may want to buy some juice or milk to put in the blender too. Mix it all together and blend it until it is smooth. Now you can enjoy your smoothie.

I’m going to teach you how to tell a good joke that will make your friends laugh their heads off. Ask them ‘What do eggs say when they turn up?’ If they don’t know, say ‘Omelette’. This sounds like ‘I’m late’ and is a cooked egg filled with other foods. SO that’s a good joke to tell your friends!

Catton Grove´s school library 

At Catton Grove, we have an amazing library that includes over 12,000 books. The library is run by Mrs Breame, our librarian. Each class has an hour to enjoy the huge library and pick out 2 books to read. We have books on football for the boys, Jacqueline Wilson books for the girls and lots more for everyone!

My morning routine

In the morning, before school, I wake up at 7:00 am. I get up and do my hair and make-up every day and it takes me roughly about an hour. I then go downstairs and eat my breakfast, which is usually 2 pieces of toast and a cup of tea. I then brush my teeth and put my stuff in my bag and leave my house at 8:20. I walk to school every morning and on my way to school I walk past the shops and through the tennis courts and arrive at school at 8:35.
