“Well, in the morning I wake up and I usually make myself a smoothie out of some fruits. If I don’t have fresh fruits at home I make myself a porridge, at lunch, if I have time to eat, I‘ll go to the mensa and eat … ah … menu of the day or I go to a restaurant.“

Speaker 2 (a young woman)

“I don’t eat anything in the morning, but I really like chicken. Chicken with rice or noodles, and in the evening we cook, and again, that’s … that‘s basically chicken with some vegetables or rice or … or something like that.“

Speaker 3 (a young boy)

“I like … I like to eat for breakfast bread with jam, and in school when I eat lunch, I … I like it when there is cake in vanilla sauce and lots of times I have for dinner at home noodles.“

Speaker 4 (an older man)

“I like to try to eat three square meals a day, I have a nice, big breakfast, … mhh … usually toast or some kind of cereal, then I usually have a small lunch like a sandwich and an orange or a banana. And for supper we like to have a … ah … cooked meal, something like … ah … spaghetti, pasta or … ah … some kind of meat and vegetables or some kind of dumplings or noodles or rice.“

“I mainly like fresh food, for example pumpkin soup is my favourite fall dinner and for breakfast I like yogurt and cornflakes and fresh fruit and my very favourite is pizza, homemade of course.“
