The Creation of Darkness

Eons ago, before the creation of Men, there wore a race of Elves called the Illuminators. This race is said to have discovered all types of magic.

The last magic they discovered was that of Necromancy, in other words the power to kill people with a single word and the power to raise the dead. They imprisoned this power inside of a sphere called “Orb of Death”, and swore never to use it.

However, it was stolen by one of the four scientists, who sought to overthrow the king. The scientist gave the power to his son Manter, and corrupted the other three into joining him. The king of Light sent an army to kill them, but Manter, single handled, slayed them all. Each scientist gained a type of forbidden magic. They became “The Immortal six” and are still alive today. Each of them created an entire race:

The first created the beasts of our world, him being able to transform into anything.

The second uses Blood Oath magic. He created the demons known as “Noxens”, more commonly known as Vampires.

The third uses Elemental magic, he can control fire, water, rock, etc. He created the Lava People who dwell in Volcanoes.

Manter’s father uses Creation magic. He skillfully crafted a race known as “The Shadows”.

Manter created the race of Men, some of whom inherited a fragment of his magic.

But that Orb… That is Darkness… it has a mind of it’s own, since it has no body it influences people to do it’s dark twisted bidding, sometimes even possessing people. It is a force of nature that cannot be destroyed, only kept at bay.

I ( The person who is speaking to you ) have fought against Darkness and won. You must be thinking that I must be a very powerful being to have won against Darkness…

But the truth is that I am a Shadow. Even my kind can be good sometimes. That is what it takes to defeat Darkness. Little things such as good deeds and friendship are all you need to fight it.

And that, my friends, is how Darkness was created.
