Il foglio si è colorato di scuro tranne che nella zona in cui è stato scritto il messaggio con il succo di limone.

La cellulosa della carta si è combinata con lo iodio facendo cambiare colore al foglio.

Anche la vitamina C si combina con lo iodio ma blocca la reazione rimanendo così la scritta incolore.

La reazione si blocca l’area coperta dal succo di limone risalta sul fondo
