Ok! I’m Nee and this is my friend Adam, and we are going to show you the different tools that we use in this classroom. One of the ones that we use a lot is tape and glue; we use both of these, both of these, to stick things to another thing or to keep things together. If, for example, we use tape to tape things together if we break something off, for example, accidentally. Or we use glue to stick something on to paper.
Like Interact, one of our books.
Yeah! We use a lot, we use some, we use a lot of paper to learn and we use it for all sorts of things like arts, we use it to write, for example. When we are writing we use paper with line guides or just lined paper. Line guides are basically something that you put behind the paper so they can see the lines so you don’t write over of it.
Another thing we use is scissors. It is, sometimes, when we have paper and we are sticking it into our books, they are too big, so we need to trim them down so they fit inside. Or we can use them to trim, just for art or something.
Another thing that we use is rulers because a lot of the time in maths we need to use straight lines and some people do it and it’s all wiggly. So please keep them straight, the lines.
And also, we also concentrate a lot on on setting our work out very nicely because next year we are going to secondary and it’s very hard and we really need to set it out properly. To have things organized.
Yeah, we use whiteboards when we don’t really need to write in a book. It’s only just more for practicing, so write down just the basic stuff on an eraser board, for example, you erase it, just like this, simple like that. You just rub it out. Easy like that. So normally we use it when we don’t have to write in our books. We use it in maths when we are practicing things instead of having to write in a book and then. Just use the whiteboard.
We use staplers to staple things but if you get the stapling wrong you can use these teeth which is used to take the staplings out. And that’s, and it’s very useful to have these teeth, otherwise all the time you might get the stapling wrong you can worry.
Post-its we use for homework when you’re trying to take notes and…
Another thing we use is pencils which we use every single day umm…this is one of them; and we use it for paper so we can write things like in maths and things.
Ok, so those are just a few of things that you can use in class, but see you can see there are a bunch of things and yes. I thought it was really good to have bunch of things because then you can learn a lot and have an easy way to just take something and use it.
