Alton Towers

At Open Academy, we have a school tradition of having a week of school time to do fun activities, some that are one day trips and others that are residential, on occasion we can even go abroad! On one of the days of my activities’ week I went to the 9th most popular Theme Parks in Europe, Alton Towers.
We set off early in the morning to London which took about roughly four hours. The park was huge, and it took ages to go from one side of the park to another. Nevertheless, it was an amazing experience and we went on all our favourite rides multiple times.
We stayed in a hotel and on the next day we went to the water park which was really great fun as well. I´d say that the downside was when someone from the park threw up just before we went on the ride!
